Privacy policy

1. Controller

  • The controller for the processing of personal data in connection with this website is:

    Dr.-Ing. Daniel Münning

  • Schiefer Berg 85
    38124 Braunschweig, Germany

  • Email: info@drmuenning.de

2. What happens when you visit this page

  • This is a static website. It sets no cookies, loads no content from third parties, and contains no analytics, advertising or profiling. Your browser stores nothing beyond the display setting you choose yourself — see the section “Cookies and storage in your browser”.

Before a page can reach you, your browser has to send your IP address to the server. There is no technical way around that.

This produces log files on the server that contain your IP address. The hosting provider has confirmed to us in writing that these log files are deleted after seven days at the latest. They exist to keep the site running safely and without interruption: for troubleshooting, and for detecting attacks and unauthorised access.

We do not analyse these log files for statistics, analytics or advertising. No visitor statistics are produced for this website.

The legal basis for processing your IP address in order to deliver the page, and for the logging, is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technical provision of this website and its safe, uninterrupted operation.

3. Hosting

  • This website is hosted by:

Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany (ALL-INKL.COM)

The provider processes data only on our instructions. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place, based on the standard contractual clauses of Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/915.

Exactly one company is approved as a sub-processor: Neue Medien Münnich GmbH, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.

4. Encryption

  • This website is served only over a TLS-encrypted connection (HTTPS). Any request over an unencrypted connection is redirected to the encrypted address.

5. Cookies and storage in your browser

  • This website sets no cookies. Neither session storage nor IndexedDB is used, and no service worker is installed.

If you choose a display setting — the light or the dark presentation, for example — your browser saves that choice locally on your device, so that it survives moving to another page and coming back on a later visit. Only the setting itself is stored. It is never sent to the server, it holds nothing personal, and it cannot be used to recognise you. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the setting you expressly asked for. Consent is therefore not required under section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, and that is why you are shown no consent banner.

No other information stored on your terminal equipment is accessed.

6. Fonts, images and code libraries

  • All fonts, images and graphics come from our own server. The fonts used are IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

Nothing is loaded from third parties — no fonts, no scripts, no media, no style sheets, and in particular no Google Fonts, no content delivery network, and no embedded maps, videos, calendars or social network content. Visiting this website therefore creates no connection to any third party.

7. Contact by email

  • This website has no contact form. Contact runs through an email link. Showing or clicking that link starts no processing on our side; it simply opens the email program on your device.

If you write to us, we process your sender address, the content of your message and the time it arrives, in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest of answering enquiries addressed to us.

The mailbox is operated at the hosting provider named above. This creates no further recipients.

  • We delete your correspondence once your enquiry has been dealt with in full and no further exchange is to be expected.

If it turns into a working relationship, the correspondence becomes part of the contract documentation and falls under the statutory retention periods, in particular those of commercial and tax law. We do not use it for anything else.

  • Please do not send unpublished invention details, trade secrets or other particularly sensitive technical information until a confidentiality agreement is in place. Without additional encryption, email is not a confidential channel.

8. Recipients

  • Apart from the hosting provider named above and its one approved sub-processor, we pass personal data to no one. Nothing is transferred to a recipient in a country outside the European Union; no such recipient is named.

The hosting provider's data centres are in Germany only.

9. How long we keep things

  • Log files created on the server when this website is visited are deleted after seven days at the latest.

For email correspondence, the criteria set out under “Contact by email” apply.

10. Your rights

  • You have the right of access to the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR), and the rights to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State where you live, where you work, or where the alleged infringement took place.

You are under no legal or contractual obligation to give us personal data. If you do not write to us, the consequence is simply that we cannot answer your enquiry.

There is no automated decision-making, and no profiling.

11. Security measures

  • The website is served entirely as static files. There is no database, no content management system, no login, no upload and no server-side code execution. Transmission is encrypted with TLS. Security headers are set as well: they stop external content being loaded and stop the site being embedded in third-party pages.

Contractual assurances covering the hosting provider's technical and organisational measures are in place under Art. 28(3)(c) and Art. 32 GDPR.
